STATEMENT OF work.

Oak & Pixel will design, build, and launch a new website for the Client consisting of up to four pages (Home, About, Services, and Contact), built to display correctly on mobile and desktop and served securely over HTTPS.

The project includes:

• Custom design based on the Client's brand, content, and the materials provided at intake
• Copywriting for the site, with the option for the Client to provide their own text if they prefer
• A working contact method (contact form, click-to-call, or click-to-email)
• Launch onto the Client's domain and ongoing hosting as described in Section 5

The Client confirms that all materials they provide (including logos, photos, and text) are owned by them or properly licensed for use on their website.

The build includes two rounds of revisions. Each round is a single consolidated list of up to seven individual changes (for example, replacing a photo, rewriting a section, or adjusting a color). Changes must be submitted together as one list per round rather than one at a time.

New pages, new functionality, and full redesigns are not revisions and are quoted separately. After two rounds, further changes are handled through the post-launch menu in Section 6.

Oak & Pixel targets completion within one business week of receiving the Client's deposit and completed intake form.

Two conditions affect this timeline. First, the schedule counts only business days on which Oak & Pixel is not waiting on the Client for materials, feedback, approvals, or domain access; time spent waiting on the Client does not count against the deadline. Second, revision requests may extend the timeline by a reasonable amount proportional to the scope of the changes.

If the Client is unresponsive for 30 consecutive days, the project may be closed and the deposit retained as payment for work performed. A closed project can be reopened at Oak & Pixel's discretion and may require a new quote.

Balance, due after Client approval and before the site goes live: $449

The Client approves the site by confirming in writing (email is sufficient) that the preview version is accepted. The deposit is non-refundable once work has begun. If Oak & Pixel cancels the project for reasons other than Client non-payment or unresponsiveness, any payments for work not performed will be refunded.

Hosting: $39 per month, beginning at launch. Hosting is month to month and the Client may cancel at any time; on cancellation, the site files are handed off as described in Section 7. Hosting includes uptime, security (SSL), and up to two minor content edits per month (text or image changes) with a turnaround of 48 to 72 hours. Structural changes are priced separately as described in Section 6.

The site goes live once the balance is paid. Hosting may be paused if a monthly payment fails.
